Peter Evans graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc in Management Sciences. He joined Standard Chartered Bank and relocated to Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai before joining and acquiring an executive search firm based in London specialising in the financial services sector. In 1999, he sold this company to TMP (monster.com) and qualified as an executive coach from INSEAD. Peter has coached senior executives and teams at some of the world’s leading organisations and has also operated as CEO, Founder and Chair at a variety of start-ups, partnerships and listed businesses. Peter joined the board of Wales in London in 2017 and has been Chair since 2019.

Bleddyn Phillips is a lawyer by profession, a former commercial director at oil companies BP and Total, and later Global Head of the Oil and Gas practice at the international law firm, Clifford Chance LLP. He is Director of Llanelli Scarlets RFC and was a trustee of the Wales Millennium Centre from 2012-2018. In 2019, he was appointed Swansea University’s Chair of the Council.
Bleddyn joined the board of Wales in London in 2016.

Dr Carol Bell is an experienced industrialist and financier. She has an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a BA in Earth Sciences from the Open University and an MA and a PhD from the Institute of Archaeology, UCL.
Dr Bell started her career in the oil and gas industry and subsequently moved into banking where she held senior posts at UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Morgan and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Since 2000, Dr Bell has held a number of non-executive roles and she is currently a Non-Executive Director of Tharisa plc, Bonheur ASA and the BlackRock Energy and Resources Investment Trust. She is a founder director of Chapter Zero, a network to support Non-executive Directors with climate change engagement, and the first woman to serve on the board of the Football Association of Wales.
Dr Bell is a frequent broadcaster in Welsh on business related matters and has sat on the S4C Authority, the governing body of the Welsh Language TV Channel. Carol has been a board member of Wales in London since 2011.

Huw Hampson- Jones graduated with a degree in Political Theory and Government from the University of Wales, Swansea. He began his career with the Unilever Group and subsequently joined Philips Industries and Harris Corporation in the US before relocating back to Europe with McDonnell Douglas and Siemens. Having worked for Siemens for 10 years, Huw moved to work in Sweden where he specialised in high technology company development for European venture capitalists. In 2010, Huw joined OXIS Energy in Oxford where he became CEO. In 2021, Huw founded Belgian based company SOLiTHOR which develops solid-state lithium cell technology for the world’s electromobility markets. Huw joined the board as Chair of Wales in London in 2013.

Will Thomas graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Music (BA Hons) and a postgraduate research degree in Musicology (MSt). His professional career has been in commodity markets, with a focus on precious metals, and has included several years each at a Japanese trading house, an investment bank, and a large multinational chemical manufacturer. Will is also the founder and conductor of Côr Llundain, the Welsh-language mixed-voice choir based in London and winners of the National Eisteddfod in 2023. Will joined the board of Wales in London in 2018.
